                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF
                   CONTRACT NO. TS-1-93, TRAFFIC SIGNAL
                   INSTALLATION, EAST THIRD STREET AT WILLOW
                   STREET, TO DILLARD SMITH CONSTRUCTION
                   COMPANY FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF
                   FOURTEEN THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX
                   AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($14,776.60).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. TS-1-93, Traffic Signal Installation, East
       Third Street at Willow Street, to Dillard Smith Construction
       Company for their low bid in the amount of $14,776.60.
